Lisa Morin-Schniederjan, MA, LPC, is a joint partner with Discoveries Christian Counseling Center in Coppell, TX. Lisa has over 12 years experience serving the Dallas community as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
As she journeys alongside her clients, Lisa seeks to provide a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel the comfort and freedom to share their sacred stories and together find the healing God has in store for them.
Lisa believes that one’s soul is like a beautiful vase intended to receive, contain, and pour forth God’s love and grace. But due to an imperfect world, one’s soul can have deep cracks where their hearts have been broken and wounds have formed. We must first repair the cracks in the foundation in order to more fully receive all the love and grace God wants to lavish upon us. This is where professional Christian counseling can be helpful. Counseling works to repair these cracks in our nature so that grace can build on nature, and we can have “life and live it to the full” (John 10:10).
Unlike some therapies that only focus on diagnosis and alleviation of symptoms, Lisa looks at each person as a whole, not the sum of his or her symptoms. This unique approach allows her to quickly identify the underlying root cause of a person's suffering and then work to help them receive the healing and resources necessary to transform their greatest suffering into their greatest triumph.
When she’s not working with clients, Lisa loves raising her two young sons with her husband, Jeff. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with girlfriends, working out at Pure Barre, attending Bible study, and visiting her sister at the beach. Lisa has grown up in the Coppell community and chose to call Coppell home after returning from graduate school. She and her husband, Jeff love raising their sons in such a vibrant community.

Fees and Schneduling
I see clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30 am to 6 pm.
Payment is due for each session at the time services are rendered; I accept cash, check, credit cards. My fees are $200 for 90 minute session and $140 for 50 minutes. I do require we meet for 90 minutes for the initial evaluation.
I do not take insurance. If you wish to submit receipts to insurance for reimbursement according to your benefits, I will provide the appropriate documentation to allow you to do so.
